Welcome to our Directory of lawyers who will work with family law clients on an unbundled basis. Each of the lawyers listed in the Directory has completed the training we offer on how to deliver unbundled family law services. Contact information for participating lawyers is included in their Lawyer Profile in the Directory.

Please note that Ontario’s Family Law Limited Scope Services Project does not endorse or recommend specific lawyers.

If you are interested in working with one of the lawyers in our Directory or otherwise, you should contact the lawyer to decide if they are right for you. When doing so, you may want to ask them about (i) their experience providing family law services, (ii) their general approach to family law disputes, and (iii) the fees that they charge for their services.

  • Special Experience, Training and/or Skills

  • A significant percentage of my practice is providing services to survivors of intimate partner violence on two-hour LAO certificates. In this capacity, I have provided opinion letters, drafted pleadings, helped clients navigate the next stage of their litigation, reviewed mediation reports, etc. I also provided drafting services under limited scope retainers.

I am a per diem duty counsel in Brantford, Cayuga, and Simcoe. In this capacity, I assist clients by drafting consents, arguing emergency motions, assisting in case conferences, reviewing Statements of Agreed Facts, etc. In my capacity as duty counsel, I have learned to quickly discern what a client hopes to achieve, learned how to modify their expectations, and learned how to demystify court processes.

Please note, under the "What Family Law Limited Scope Services Do You Offer," I have listed all the services I will offer. I didn't offer coaching services, but now will. While I had heard of coaching, I didn't fully appreciate how to offer coaching services until I watched the webinar.
