  • Shayanika practices family law with compassion and professionalism. She advises clients located in Ontario on a variety of family law issues including support, property and parenting. She negotiates domestic contracts as well as represents clients in court proceedings. Shayanika advocates for her clients in the courtroom as well as in negotiations with diligence. She has appeared in motions and conferences in the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice in Toronto, Oshawa, Newmarket and Brampton.

    Shayanika believes that good representation in family law can ease the anxiety that is often experienced by clients in family law proceedings. She focuses on providing sound legal advice and helps client to strategically maneuver complex family situations.

    Shayanika speaks frequently on domestic violence and related family law issues and serves on the Board of Directors of ISEE INITIATIVE, a non-profit organization based in Toronto. Shayanika previously served as a director on the Board of West Scarborough Community Legal Services.

    Shayanika graduated from University of Toronto (St. George) with an Honours Bachelor of Arts and subsequently completed her LL.B. Shayanika completed her articling at a boutique law firm in Toronto, gaining extensive experience in Family and Business Law. Shayanika is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario.
